Combo welding & fabrication · Bakersfield, CA
Twenty years of combo welding — process piping to structural, shop or field. If it has to hold pressure, hold weight, or pass inspection, it gets welded right the first time.
Capabilities
Laid out like a spec sheet, because that’s how your project starts. Send the drawing or a photo of the part — you’ll get a straight answer on whether it’s a fit and what it’ll cost.
All schedules, all positions — up to heavy-wall stainless. Tie-ins, manifolds, valve skids, repairs — welded to print and pressure-ready.
16″ to 54″ PFRs built in-house in 316L for water-treatment service. A JDJ specialty — big steel, tight tolerances.
Beams, frames, supports, platforms, canopies and repairs. Built square, built to carry.
304, 316, 316L and the rest. Sanitary and corrosive-service work where the bead has to be clean inside and out.
The metal most shops turn away. TIG’d clean — tanks, guards, brackets, repairs.
No print? Doesn’t matter. JDJ designs and draws it up in-house — dimensioned shop drawings for your approval before a single cut is made.
One-off parts, broken equipment, “can you fix this?” Bring it in, or we come to you.

Two 36″ PFRs built in the shop over two weeks, headed to an ozone water-treatment facility. Big steel, tight tolerances, welded to hold up in corrosive service. Recent JDJ work also includes a full-stainless 316L pump station for a California water company and heavy-wall SS 316 skid piping for carbon-capture service at Elk Hills.
Design & drafting
Most shops need you to show up holding a print. JDJ doesn’t. Bring a sketch, a photo of the broken part, or just the problem — it gets designed, dimensioned and drawn in-house, and you approve the sheet before anything gets cut. Fewer surprises, no remakes, and a real drawing on file when you need the next one.
Designed in-house, drawn, approved, then built in 304 stainless for California Water Service. Same shop start to finish — nobody hands your job to a third party and hopes for the best.
Tap any sheet to read it full size. Every job leaves the shop with drawings like these on file.
